When is the App live?

The first versions of Shimmy App will be made available to the founding network for testing from October 2025.

Is the app on web or mobile?

Shimmy is a native mobile application initially for iOS & Android. We will release Shimmy via web at a later date.

What makes Shimmy different from other SocialFi products?

Shimmy not only presents clear innovative use cases via 'Shimmies' that carry positive impact value. It embeds specification and safety mechanisms to provide a completely unique, purposeful and customisable experience. We also embed financial functionality, for paid shimmy access, and fundraising capability.

How does the financial functionality work?

Shimmy utilises Stripe payment functionality to ensure safe, quick transactions. There are many ways inwhich this is embedded, including paid Shimmy access, fundraising and more.

Why not just use already popular competitors?

Along with Shimmy being deeply rooted in ethics and user protection, our use case is unique, purposeful and creates tangible outcomes. Shimmy is designed specifically to help you do amazing things!

When do we expect Shimmy to launch?

The full launch of the Shimmy platform will be Q2 2025. Our V1 will be made available for external testing during Q1, to our founding network. Then restrictively released through wider communities.

Where are the product updates?

You can find most recent product updates in our Blog, or via our monthly email update by Signing Up. We will be providing monthly stakeholder updates once our product is live.
